vintage dress, chain, and other delictables at the Lily
I am happy to report I had an amazing day with my class today at the Lily. I was truly blessed by having such wonderfully creative students, who were ever so supportive and anchored the most joyous creative energy. Since this was the first art class I have ever taught formally, I was a bit nervous, but these gals put me at ease with their willingness to take it up a notch and create their own interpretations of their Milagros. Each students personality, tastes, and aesthetic came forth and manifested into a unique expression of both art and intention.
I didn’t get a chance to photograph everyone’s milagro, but here is a pic of Tina’s piece, which I believe reflects the box busting energy of the day.

After all, how can you not create super groovy art when you are surrounded with such great, yummy vintage goodness?!

Thank you, Nancy for inviting me to teach this class and thank you to the awesome, artist women who attended me class.

I think everyone was very happy with the milagros Pilar. Thanks for letting me sit with you all at the end of class, it was fun to see what everyone put together, and it was great to visit.
