My dear, sweet friend, Deryn invited me to be a part of her annual 12 Days of Christmas Ornament exchange. I was thrilled to be included in this group of phenomenal artists and women.
Today is Day 1 of our exchange and the big day couldn't have started any better as Ruth Rae is artist numero uno.
Ruth began this extravaganza by creating an elaborated gift wrapping.

For those of you, who are not familiar with Ruth she is an amazingly talented artist. Not only is she a master wire jeweler, she is also a very skilled mixed media artist.

I am afraid this picture just does not do this beautiful ornament justice. The detailed stitching and layering make this a spectacular ornie. Thank you Ruth for this heart felt creation. It is an work of art I will cherish for a very long, long time.
